Our environmental workSome of our Sunwing Resorts have already been labeled with the Flower – The European Eco-Label, and more are coming. That is why we think of the environment at every stage. Among other things, the Miniland staff passes on to the children everyday, environmental tips on how to separate waste, save natural resources and in general how to be careful with our environment in order to educate them to be environment oriented citizens of the world. Moreover, on Open House Hours they can draw pictures inspired from environment themes. Watch out parents!How can our guests contribute? Bedclothes and towels are not automatically changed on cleaning days. If you, as a guest, want them changed, they have to be put in the laundry basket in the bathroom. This saves considerable quantities of electricity, detergent and water. Freshwater is often in short supply in the Mediterranean, on the Canary Islands and in Thailand. This is why we ask everyone to be careful with the water. If 500 people do not leave the water running when they brush their teeth, at least 50,000 litres of water will be saved every week.
We also encourage our guests to use the waste separation facilities within the resort areas.
