Car Rental Information
Since Safety and security are important to us – we work together with AVIS and can offer quality cars at special rates. Please contact Help Desk for reservation and more information.
Their nearest office is located in Puerto Rico, next to the shopping center (open from Monday-Friday 08:00-13:00, closed on Saturday & Sunday). They will come to Sunwing Arguineguín Seafront when they have reservations to attend.
- Please make bookings and payment by the the self-service kiosk in the lobby.
- Booking Requirements: Driving licence: 1 year, minimum age: 21 years

Shopping
There are a few shops in Arguineguin, selling souvenirs, sports equipment, clothes and shoes. Most shops close 13.00-16.00 for siesta. The grocery store Spar, opens daily 08:00-22:00.
In Anfi del Mar, about 2km away, you can find a small shopping centre, bars, cafeterias and restaurants. In Puerto Rico valley, about 5km away, there is a shopping centre with shops, restaurants, bars, pubs and discoteques. The shops are mostly aimed for tourists.

The biggest shopping centres are in the Las Palmas area. Following the highway along the coastline towards the north, you find following Shopping Centers and department stores. In general they open Monday-Saturday 10:00-22:00.
- Mogan Mall - about 6.5km away, above the old shopping center in Puerto Rico, opens daily 10.00-22.00. Taxi or bus.
- The Market Puerto Rico - about 6.5km away, small shopping center above the old shopping center in Puerto Rico, opens daily 10.00-22.00. Taxi or bus.
- Shopping Centre El Tablero, Maspalomas - about 10 km away, opens daily from 10.00-22.00. Taxi or rental car.
- Shopping Centre Atlántico, Vecindario - about 30 km away. Bus line 90 to Vecindario, taxi or rental car.
- Decathlon, sports equipment and sportswear, Telde - about 45 km away. Bus line 01 to Telde/ Las Estrella, taxi or rental car.
- Outlet Shopping Centre Las Terrazas, Telde - about 53 km away. Bus line 01 to Jinamar, taxi or rental car.
- Shopping Centre El Mirador, Telde - about 55 km away. Bus line 01 to Jinamar, taxi or rental car
- Department store El Corte Inglés, Las Palmas - about 55 km away. Bus line 91 to Las Palmas, taxi or rental car.
- Shopping Centre El Muelle, Las Palmas - about 55km away. Bus line 91 to Las Palmas, taxi or rental car.
- Shopping Centre Siete Palmas, Las Palmas - about 65 km away.Bus line 91 to Las Palmas, taxi or rental car.

Check with Help Desk for more information. Changes to opening hours may occur due to festivities. 25/12, 1/1 & 6/1 most of the shopping centers and shops remain closed. All Shopping Centers have their own webpage where you can find more specific information.
Markets
Starts at 08:30 and ends around 15:00. The earlier you go, the better the selection. They sell everything from fruits & vegetables to souvenirs and clothes. You can also make braids at most markets! Check with Help Desk for directions to each place.

Sustainable Tourism Tax
Mogan Municipality has introduced a Sustainable Tourism Tax to help with environmental and tourism improvements. This applies to all guests aged 2 or more, €0.15 per night overstay.
You will pay the tax prior to departure by credit card or cash at our reception.
